Terms of service
Last updated September 28, 2026
From everyone at Iterator, thank you for using our products. Because we do not know every one of our customers personally, we set out these Terms of Service to keep the business running.
When we say “Company”, “we”, “our”, or “us” in this document, we are referring to Iterator, Inc., a Delaware corporation.
When we say “Services”, we mean our websites, including itrtr.com, slpwy.com, skipper.dev, screenrecording.ai, milestracker.app, and plusone.dev, and any product created and maintained by Iterator, Inc.. That includes Skipper (the service at app.skipper.dev and Skipper for Mac), Screen Recording for Mac, Miles for iPhone, our other apps, and Plus One, the subscription and account that cover our apps (www.plusone.dev and account.plusone.dev), whether delivered within a web browser, desktop application, mobile application, or another format.
When we say “You” or “your”, we are referring to the people or organizations that use one or more of our Services, with or without an account. If you use a Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you can bind that organization, and “you” means the organization.
We may update these Terms of Service ("Terms") in the future. Whenever we make a significant change to our policies, we will refresh the date at the top of this page and take any other appropriate steps to notify account holders.
When you use our Services, now or in the future, you are agreeing to the latest Terms. There may be times where we do not exercise or enforce a right or provision of the Terms; however, that does not mean we are waiving that right or provision. These Terms do contain a limitation of our liability.
If you violate any of the Terms, we may terminate your account. That is a broad statement, and it means you need to place a lot of trust in us. We do our best to deserve that trust by being open about who we are and by reading the feedback you send us.
Account Terms
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password and for ensuring that any of your users do the same. The Company cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation. Skipper signs you in with GitHub, so this means your GitHub account. We recommend all users set up two-factor authentication for added security.
- Plus One is one account at plusone.dev that the apps it covers, Screen Recording and Miles included, sign in with. You sign in with Sign in with Apple, a passkey, or a code we email you, and signing in to one of our apps on a device signs in our other apps on that device. You are responsible for the devices, passkeys, Apple Account, and email account that can sign in to your Plus One account. An account belongs to one person, and a plan and its credits belong to one account.
- Your content stays where our apps keep it. Screen Recording keeps your recordings on your Mac, and Miles keeps your drives on your iPhone and in your own iCloud account. Neither reaches your Plus One account or our servers.
- You may not use the Services for any purpose outlined in the Use Restrictions section below, and you may not permit any of your users to do so, either.
- You are responsible for all content posted to and activity that occurs under your account, including content posted by and activity of any users in your account.
- You must be a human. Accounts registered by “bots” or other automated methods are not permitted.
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), and old enough to enter into these Terms where you live.
Payment, Refunds, and Plan Changes
- If you are using a free version of one of our Services, it is free. We do not ask you for your credit card, and we do not sell your data, the same as for customers who pay for our Services.
- Skipper is free today. If we add paid plans, no fees apply to you until you accept terms that describe them.
- Our apps are sold only through Plus One. Each Plus One plan, Core, Pro, or Max, covers the apps listed for it on the plans page. Miles comes with every plan, and Screen Recording comes with Pro and Max. Without an active plan, an app stops offering the features the plan pays for. Recordings you made with Screen Recording stay on your Mac as ordinary files, and the drives you recorded with Miles stay readable and exportable in the app and in your iCloud account.
- Plus One is billed in advance every month or every year and renews automatically at the same price until you cancel it. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you paid for, and your plan stays active until then. An account has one plan at a time.
- Every plan starts with a free week. On the web you get it when your account has never had a plan, in the App Store or on the web, and in the App Store, Apple decides whether you are eligible under its rules for introductory offers. If you cancel before the free week ends, you are not charged. Otherwise the first charge is when the free week ends.
- Each plan includes the number of credits a month stated on the plans page, which is higher for a plan bought on the web than for one bought in the App Store. Credits pay for features that run on our servers or our providers’ servers, such as cloud AI models, and each app shows what used your credits. We grant a plan’s credits at the start of each paid month of the plan, yearly plans included, so the free week and a period whose payment is being retried bring no new credits. They expire at the end of that month, and unused credits do not roll over. We spend monthly credits before credits from packs. Credits are not money, have no cash value, and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for money.
- If you have an active plan, you can buy credit packs on the web or in our apps. Credits from a pack never expire, and you can spend them after your plan ends.
- If a purchase is refunded or reversed, we take back the credits it granted. When a credit pack is refunded, in full or in part, we take back that share of its credits. The ones you have not spent are removed, and the ones you already spent come out of your other credits. Whatever those cannot cover becomes a negative balance, and the credits you receive next pay that balance off before you can spend them. When the current period of a plan is refunded in full, the rest of that month’s credits are removed, and a plan refund never leaves a negative balance. A partial refund of a plan charge, or a refund of an earlier period, changes no credits. If the store reverses a refund, the credits it took come back.
- You can buy Plus One in our apps on the App Store, for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Apple is the seller of those purchases and handles their billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds under its terms. You cancel an App Store plan in the subscriptions of your Apple Account. Deleting an app or your Plus One account does not cancel it. When you ask Apple for a refund of a Plus One purchase, Apple can ask us for information about your use of it. You consent to our sending Apple that consumption information when it asks, namely that the purchase was delivered, that Plus One can be tried for free, for a credit pack the share of its credits you spent, and whether we would prefer Apple to refund it in full, in part, or not at all, which for a credit pack follows that share. You can withdraw that consent at any time under Refund requests on your account page at account.plusone.dev, and we then stop answering Apple about your purchases.
- On the web, including from our Mac apps sold outside the App Store, Plus One is sold through Link, the merchant of record service of our payment processor Stripe. Link is the seller of record for each web charge. It charges your payment method, calculates, collects, and remits any sales tax, VAT, or GST, sends receipts and invoices, and handles payment and refund requests under Link's terms. You change plans, buy credit packs, or cancel in your account at account.plusone.dev or at link.com. On the web, an upgrade takes effect at once and is prorated, with the difference on your next bill, and a downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you paid for. Our apps and account.plusone.dev offer a plan only to an account without one. If your account ends up with two plans, for example one from the App Store and one from the web, the larger one applies, your account shows both, and the other keeps billing until you cancel it where you bought it.
- For purchases made directly from Iterator, including Plus One on the web, email us within 14 days of a charge to request a refund. We may decline direct-purchase refunds for repeat purchases or requests we reasonably believe are abusive. For App Store purchases, request a refund through Apple under its terms.
- All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. Where required, we will collect those taxes on behalf of the taxing authority and remit those taxes to taxing authorities; for Plus One, Link collects and remits them on the web, and Apple does in the App Store. Fees are in U.S. dollars unless we say otherwise, and Link can show Plus One's total in your local currency at checkout.
- Card numbers go directly to our payment processor, or to Apple for App Store purchases, and never reach our servers.
See billing and refunds for digital delivery and purchase support.
Cancellation and Termination
- You are solely responsible for properly canceling your account. You can delete your Skipper account from within the product, or by emailing humans@itrtr.com if no self-service option is available. To stop Plus One, cancel your plan in your account at account.plusone.dev or at link.com, or, for a plan bought in one of our apps, in the subscriptions of your Apple Account. You can delete your Plus One account in the account screen of any of our apps or at account.plusone.dev. Deleting it cancels a plan bought on the web and ends its credits, including credits from packs. A plan bought in the App Store keeps renewing until you cancel it in your Apple Account. Your recordings stay on your Mac, and your drives stay in your iCloud account.
- All of your content will be inaccessible from the Services immediately upon account cancellation. We remove your personal information from our active systems, and copies in routine backups expire on our normal backup cycle. We cannot recover this information once it has been permanently deleted. When you delete your Plus One account, we keep the records of its purchases, refunds, and credits, linked to the account ID and without your personal data, for seven years after the deletion, as tax and dispute rules require.
- We have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of our Services for any reason at any time. Suspension means you and any other users on your account will not be able to access the account or any content in the account. Termination will furthermore result in the deletion of your account or your access to your account, and the forfeiture and relinquishment of all content in your account. We also reserve the right to refuse the use of the Services to anyone for any reason at any time. We will try to inform you before doing so when practical.
- Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of a Company employee or officer will result in immediate account termination.
Modifications to the Service and Prices
- We commit to supporting our Services for as long as we operate them. That means we continue to maintain security, privacy, and customer support for any legacy Services. Sometimes it becomes technically impossible to continue a feature or we redesign a part of our Services because we think it could be better or we decide to close new signups of a product. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any part of our Services with or without notice.
- If we discontinue a Service that holds your content, we give you as much notice as we can and a way to export it. Screen Recording keeps your recordings on your Mac. Miles keeps your drives in your iCloud account, where they stay readable and exportable.
- Sometimes we change the pricing structure for our products. When we do that, we tend to exempt existing customers from those changes. However, we may choose to change the prices for existing customers. If we do so, we will give at least 30 days notice and will notify you via the email address on record. We may also post a notice about changes on our websites or the affected Services themselves.
Uptime, Security, and Privacy
- Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. We provide these Services on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not offer service-level agreements for our Services, but we work to keep our applications available.
- We reserve the right to temporarily disable your account if your usage significantly exceeds the average usage of other customers of the Services. We will contact the account owner before taking any action except in rare cases where the level of use may negatively impact the performance of the Service for other customers.
- We take many measures to protect and secure your data through backups, redundancies, and encryption. We enforce encryption for data transmission from the public Internet.
- When you use our Services, you entrust us with your data, and we treat that responsibility carefully. You agree that Iterator may process your data as described in our Privacy Policy and for no other purpose. We as humans can access your data only for the following reasons.
- To help you with support requests you make. We’ll ask for express consent before accessing your account.
- On the rare occasions when an error occurs that stops an automated process partway through. We get automated alerts when such errors occur. When we can fix the issue and restart automated processing without looking at any personal data, we do. In rare cases, we have to look at a minimum amount of personal data to fix the issue. In these rare cases, we aim to fix the root cause to prevent the errors from recurring.
- To safeguard Iterator. We’ll look at logs and metadata as part of our work to ensure the security of your data and the Services as a whole. If necessary, we may also access accounts as part of an abuse report investigation.
- To the extent required by applicable law. As a US company with all data infrastructure located in the US, we only preserve or share customer data if compelled by a US government authority with a legally binding order or proper request under the Stored Communications Act, or in limited circumstances in the event of an emergency request. If a non-US authority approaches Iterator for assistance, our default stance is to refuse unless the order has been approved by the US government, which compels us to comply through procedures outlined in an established mutual legal assistance treaty or agreement mechanism. If Iterator is audited by a tax authority, we only share the bare minimum billing information needed to complete the audit.
- We use third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run the Services. We name our current providers if you ask.
- Our apps, including Skipper for Mac, Screen Recording for Mac, and Miles for iPhone, send crash reports and performance data to Lookout, a diagnostics service we run ourselves, by default. Miles also sends usage events. You can turn this off in each app’s Share diagnostics setting. Our Privacy Policy says what the reports contain.
- If a data protection law that applies to you requires a data processing agreement, email us and we will put one in place.
AI Coding Agents and Generated Output
This section applies to Skipper.
- Skipper runs AI coding agents from other companies, such as Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini, with the accounts, subscriptions, and API keys you supply. Each provider’s terms and privacy policy govern what you send it. We are not a party to those agreements.
- Agent output can be wrong, incomplete, or insecure. Agents do not replace human review. You are responsible for reviewing and testing output before you rely on it, and for any code you commit or decision you make based on it.
- We are not liable for damages or losses that result from a third-party agent or provider, including its availability, pricing, or handling of your data.
Copyright and Content Ownership
- All content posted on the Services must comply with U.S. copyright law.
- You give us a limited license to use the content posted by you and your users in order to provide the Services to you, but we claim no ownership rights over those materials. All materials you submit to the Services remain yours. That includes your source code, prompts, agent conversations, recordings, and transcripts.
- We do not pre-screen content, but reserve the right (but not the obligation) in our sole discretion to refuse or remove any content that is available via the Service.
- The Company or its licensors own all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all intellectual property rights therein, and you obtain no ownership rights in the Services as a result of your use. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or visual design elements without express written permission from the Company. You must request permission to use the Company’s logos or any Service logos for promotional purposes. Please email us requests to use logos. We reserve the right to rescind any permissions if you violate these Terms.
- Skipper for Mac, Screen Recording, and Miles are licensed, not sold. You may install and use them on Macs and iPhones you own or control. You may not reverse engineer or decompile them, except where the law allows it despite this clause, and you may not remove their proprietary notices.
- You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Services, use of the Services, or access to the Services without the express written permission of the Company.
- We may name you, with your logo, as a customer in our marketing. Email us if you’d rather we didn’t.
Use Restrictions
You may not use the Services, or let your users use them, to do any of the following.
- Break the law, or gain unauthorized access to anyone else’s networks, systems, data, or equipment.
- Infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Distribute malware, spam, or content that is unlawful, harassing, or deceptive.
- Probe, interfere with, or degrade the Services, or bypass their access controls, unless we have agreed to it in writing.
- Copy the Services to build a competing product.
- Operate anything where failure could cause death, injury, or environmental damage, such as life support, autonomous vehicles, or air traffic control.
- Submit protected health information, financial account numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive personal data we have not agreed in writing to receive.
Features and Bugs
We design our Services with care, based on our own experience and the experiences of customers who share their time and feedback. However, no service suits every customer. We make no guarantees that our Services will meet your specific requirements or expectations.
We also test all of our features extensively before releasing them. As with any software, our Services inevitably have some bugs. We track the bugs reported to us and work through priority ones, especially any related to security or privacy. Not all reported bugs will get fixed and we don’t guarantee completely error-free Services.
Features marked alpha, beta, preview, or early access are experimental. We may change or remove them at any time, with or without notice.
Liability
We mention liability throughout these Terms. This section states it in one place.
You expressly understand and agree that the Company shall not be liable, in law or in equity, to you or to any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, lost profits, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses (even if the Company has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from (i) the use or the inability to use the Services; (ii) the cost of procurement of substitute goods and services resulting from any goods, data, information or services purchased or obtained or messages received or transactions entered into through or from the Services; (iii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iv) statements or conduct of any third party on the service, including the output of any AI coding agent; (v) or any other matter relating to these Terms or the Services, whether as a breach of contract, tort (including negligence whether active or passive), or any other theory of liability.
Where the law does not allow that exclusion, the Company’s total liability for all claims relating to these Terms or the Services is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or US$100, whichever is greater.
In other words, you take on the risk of using our Services. If something goes wrong, the loss is yours and not ours. We work to keep that risk low through careful management of the business and through investment in security, infrastructure, and staff. Thank you for choosing our Services.
Governing Law and Disputes
Delaware law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any suit about these Terms must be brought in the state or federal courts in New Castle County, Delaware, and each party submits to their exclusive jurisdiction. If a court finds any term unenforceable, the rest of the Terms still apply.
You may not export or re-export the Services in violation of U.S. export controls or sanctions. You confirm that you are not in, or a national of, an embargoed country, and not on a U.S. list of restricted parties.
If you have a question about any of these Terms, please contact our Support team.
