Prepare the next item in your resale shop
A jacket, bag, or pair of shoes needs more than an attractive cover image. Give buyers a clear view of the item they will receive, including condition and the details that identify it.
Use a repeatable photo list
Start with the whole item. Add the back, a close view of the material, the brand and size labels, and any wear. For shoes, include the soles. For bags, show the lining, closure, corners, and strap.
If you add measurement photos, keep the tape readable and the item laid flat without stretching it. Write the measurements in the listing as well.
Keep the cover image clear
Lightbox’s background remover can form part of a clear cover-image workflow. The templates reuse a background and crop for the next listing.
A consistent setting can help a shop look organized. It should still be obvious when two items differ in material, color, or condition.
Make honest edits
Clean a distracting background or straighten a crop. Keep stains, worn areas, loose seams, and other condition details in the photo set. A retouched image should not suggest the item is in better condition than it is.
For clothing, a real worn photo or a carefully arranged flat lay can show shape. Lightbox does not include AI fashion models or ghost mannequin reconstruction. Read the clothing photography guide for a practical alternative.
Prepare each destination
Check the crop and upload requirements in the destination app when you list. Keep the original photos so you can make another version without repeatedly compressing an already edited file.
Export photos for Depop, Poshmark, or Vinted and upload them through the destination app. Read beta access and the batch editing guide.
