Give a product photo another use

The image you make for a listing can also be the starting point for a launch post or collection announcement. A different canvas gives you room for the product, a short message, and the context around it.

Start with a reusable cutout

Lightbox’s transparent background workflow makes a product image reusable. Put that cutout on a plain brand color or a simple scene, then adjust the spacing for the new format.

Keep a clean version without text. That file remains useful when the campaign, price, or destination changes.

Design the crop for the destination

A square post and a tall story give you different space to work with. Reposition the product rather than stretching the whole design. Keep text and important details away from edges and areas covered by controls in the destination app.

Preview the exported image inside the social app. The framing you see in an editor may differ from the feed preview or profile grid.

Keep the message readable

Use one clear heading when the image needs text. Check contrast against the background and leave enough space between the product and the words. A busy generated scene can make a small caption harder to read.

The template workflow includes reusable layout choices for repeated posts. Save a layout you can adapt for the next product.

Keep the product recognizable

Compare the social graphic with the listing image. The color, material, and included accessories should agree. A promotional layout can be expressive while still showing the same item a customer will receive.

Export the finished image, then publish it using your social app. Read beta access, image resizing, and the AI product photography guide.
